Virtual Machine Requirements Guideline
The SecureMail Gateway is an extremely efficient, lightweight server based on a hardened Ubuntu 18.04LTS operating system. It only uses about 6GB of disk space for the OS and all software. Because it operates on top of Ubuntu Linux, it has a smaller CPU and memory resource profile than comparable Windows based servers. It can be installed in virtually any VMware or Hyper-V virtualization environment, or within Microsoft Azure and other cloud IAAS environments.
The
SecureMail Gateway virtual machine requires the following recommended minimum
resources when run within your virtualization Infrastructure. Please note that these
values are rough guidelines and may need adjusting depending on the host
infrastructure hardware, average email volume, secure mail retention lifetime, etc. Please contact support@globalcerts.net if you have
questions regarding allocating the proper amount of resources:
