SecureMail Gateway Administration

SecureMail Gateway Administration

The GlobalCerts SecureMail Gateway is administered through a secure web portal on a special port. In order to access your administration, open a browser and enter your SMG's hostname followed by port 444 into the URL bar. For example: https://securemail.mycompany.com:444. Please note this may need to be done from your internal network as this port should be locked down from external (internet) access. The default login is username:admin and password: admin.

For details on the administration of the SMG, you can click the 'Help' icon in the upper-right corner of the administration pages, or reference the attached SMG Administrator Manual.

Users may also manage the clue and passphrase templates they have set up by visiting the User-level administration on port 445 (i.e. https://securemail.mycompany.com:445)
